ABOUT CARDMIND
CardMind started as a spreadsheet. Then it became an obsession. Now it is the data layer for Magic: The Gathering.
MEET THE FOUNDER
Founder & Engineer
I have been collecting Magic cards for over a decade and writing software for over twenty-five years. The two worlds collided when I realized I was spending more time tracking prices in spreadsheets than actually playing the game.
CardMind exists because I wanted one place to see what my collection is worth, which cards are moving, and whether a spec is backed by real data or just Reddit hype. No financial advice. No guru predictions. Just signals, patterns, and math.
I built this solo — every API call, every price pipeline, every pixel. The stack is Next.js, PostgreSQL, and a healthy dose of Claude. Seattle-based, fueled by coffee and draft chaff.
WHAT CARDMIND BELIEVES
Every signal in CardMind is derived from measurable market data. We show the math. We publish misses. No black boxes.
Unlimited collection tracking, 10 AI analyses per month, full price data. No locked-in features. No bait-and-switch.
Our methodology page explains every signal. We publish misses and corrections. If we are wrong, you will know.
THE STACK
Open source tools and production-grade APIs. Every dependency earns its place.
CardMind provides market data for informational purposes only. Not financial advice. See our Methodology for details on how prices and signals are calculated.
