The City of Shadows was a hidden magical school in the Dark Age of Terisiare that succeeded the fallen College of Lat-Nam and became the primary sanctuary for mages fleeing persecution from the Church of Tal. It eventually relocated due to the advancing Ice Age, continuing its legacy as the School of the Unseen.
