Elephant is a creature type describing large pachyderms found across multiple planes, with two main categories: wild green elephants and anthropomorphic white Loxodons. The type has evolved significantly since its introduction in Arabian Nights, eventually absorbing the Mammoth creature type during the Grand Creature Type Update.

💡 During the Grand Creature Type Update, Mammoth was incorporated into Elephant. This caused Elephant Graveyard to regenerate only Elephants since Mammoths no longer existed as a separate type. The Mammoth type later reappeared on Domesticated Mammoth, a test card in Mystery Booster.
