Sword of Kaldra is one of three artifacts that combine to summon Kaldra, a powerful blue-white plasma avatar created by Glissa Sunseeker to fight Memnarch's forces on Mirrodin. After being corrupted and destroyed, the artifacts were recovered in New Phyrexia where they were repurposed into new weapons for Glissa's purposes.
