Nicol Bolas is an elder dragon and one of the multiverse's most powerful beings, who briefly became a near-omnipotent Dragon-God during the War of the Spark before being stripped of his spark and imprisoned. After years of captivity in a nameless state, he was discovered and ultimately escaped to an unknown plane during the events of Tarkir: Dragonstorm.
